Throughout my life and career I've always worked across artistic and creative disciplines. I think that's what drew me into the fantastic world of Stop-Motion animation. It was a creative arena where my multitude of skills and disciplines came together under one roof and flourished. Sculpting, painting, 3D printing, 3D design, Machining, Concept design, research and development, mold making, color matching, surface finishing.
I continue to push my limits to acquire new skills and techniques to give puppets and animators the best I have to offer.
I've run large teams and I've run small agile crews. I've always worked with a sense of urgency an eye for quality and a mind for the budget. I have consulted with companies to better inform their stop-motion animation needs and built their teams and workshops to accommodate their production's needs.
In recent years I've had the pleasure to work on Henry Selick's unreleased "Shadow King" and Phil Tippet's stop-motion opus "MAD GOD". I was the lead fabricator for Starburns Industries first feature film and Academy Nominated, "Anomalisa" and Amazon's Emmy winning children's show "Tumbeleaf". Also, more recently Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4D for SimEx-Iwerks.
Other recent work and clients include, Netflix, Wieden+Kennedy, Portlandia, Starburns Industries, AT&T, Honda, Vans, Adult Swim, Vice, Xfinity, DisneyXD, Bent Image Labs, Pet Gorilla, Shadow machine and Bob's Discount Furniture.
